This was the kids this morning. They played and were happy. I don't want to create a false image of perfection. I had several points of near-weeping today and the kids only played this peacefully for maybe an hour, but when I saw this picture with the kids and the cat and the toys and the pantheon of books and the light and the autumn leaves in the background, well, I just couldn't help but realize all of the many many blessings we enjoy.
